stuck on blocks and unusable until customer service decides to send you that back ordered part? LEGO is really going for an authentic Land Rover experience here.

So you have actual Land Rover problems on a Lego Land Rover?

Right? Lego Technic needs to jump on this opportunity and release a service center set.

Oh hell, you can just finish the luggage rack later, no biggie. Lego is pretty good about getting the replacement pieces out, but it does take a little while. At least it’s not a critical part that needs to be completed to continue on.

That’s super rare that you’ve got an ACTUAL missing piece. According to the theory of “you get one rare thing”, you should have purchased a lottery ticket :)
That’s also unfortunately not the sort of piece that you’d have extras of if you kept all the random extra pieces from several dozen LEGO sets over the years. Luckily, LEGO has excellent cotomer sevis so you’ll be good to go in no time.
